Use the Essay Structure page to write notes which you can transfer to your essay:

Transfer these notes to your essay:
When you have finished writing up your notes you can transfer them to your essay for editing.
Right click on each section you want to transfer and choose "Transfer to Essay" from the popup menu. Then click the "Transfer Notes to New Essay" button at the top of the page. Your notes will be copied to a new document where you can start your essay by editing them.
